Suresh Vaswani is the Joint Chief Executive Officer of Wipro's IT business and is on the board of Wipro Ltd. He jointly carries the overall responsibility for the strategy and business operations of Wipro's IT Business. In his current role, Mr. Vaswani is directly responsible for business units addressing customers across manufacturing, retail and consumer products, government and transportation, health care, and energy and utilities sectors. He is also responsible for the BPO, technology infrastructure, enterprise applications and testing service lines. In addition to Wipro, Mr. Vaswani works with Infotech, the India and Middle East business of Wipro, and Infocrossing, the U.S.-based data center business. From a functional perspective, he takes care of global sales, strategic marketing and quality. Before taking up the joint CEO responsibility, Mr. Vaswani was President of differentiated global IT services for Wipro Technologies, in addition to being President of Wipro Infotech. He has been with Wipro for more than 25 years in various leadership positions across differentiated IT services, and he has provided a strong platform for growth and leadership in emerging markets for Wipro. Mr. Vaswani is very passionate about the themes "green" and "diversity," and he is the Executive Sponsor for gender diversity at Wipro.
