WILLIAM SICKLER is President and Chief Executive Officer of Gadzoox
Networks, Inc. Mr. Sickler is a senior corporate executive with an
excellent track record in founding and growing successful business based
on complex, leading edge technologies. Having joined the organization in
1996, he brings a demonstrated ability to conceptualize and articulate
business vision, as well as organize, inspire, and lead management
teams. Under his leadership the company has raised over $30 million in
venture capital and corporate funding and has successfully leveraged its
technological prowess to become the leading supplier of networking
products in the SAN (storage area network) market segment. Mr. Sickler
previously held the position of President and CEO of Network Computing,
Inc., a proactive network management company acquired by Seagate
Software becoming Seagate's cornerstone network management strategy. Mr.
Sickler joined Ungermann-Bass in its infancy and spent a total of 12
years with them. He served his last four years as UB's Chief Operating
Officer, growing it to $340 million dollars in revenue and reaching its
peak profitability. Mr. Sickler holds an MBA from the University of
California, Berkeley and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Princeton
