WILLIAM F. YATES is President of Yates Capital Management. He has an AB
from Harvard and an MBA from Boston University. He has had thirty-eight
years of accountant management and equity research experience. He was
previously associated with Woodstock Corp. and 'The New England,' for
whom he assisted in their acquisition of Loomis Sayles & Co. in 1968. He
is a past Director of Ameribanc and a member of the Boston Security
Analysts Society. He is also Chairman and President of Missouri Valley
Farms. Mr. Yates is married with seven children including three
stepchildren plus four grandchildren. His interests include tennis,
