WILLIAM S. DAUGHERTY has served as Director, President and Chief
Executive Officer of NGAS Resources, Inc., since September 1993. Mr.
Daugherty founded Daugherty Petroleum in 1984. He is past President of
the Kentucky Oil and Gas Association and the Kentucky Independent
Petroleum Producers Association. He also serves as the Kentucky
Governor's official representative to the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact
Commission and is on the Board of Directors of the Independent Petroleum
Association of America. Mr. Daugherty holds a BS degree from Berea
