WILLIAM J. CAMPBELL has been with Pamrapo Bancorp, Inc., since 1964,
serving as Executive Vice President from 1965 until being made President
and Chief Executive Officer in 1970. He has been a Director of the bank
since 1986. Under Mr. Campbell's knowledgeable leadership, the bank has
continued to expand while keeping its commitment to the community. Since
converting to a public entity in 1989, Mr. Campbell has grown the bank's
assets from $219 million to over $627 million. Before joining Pamrapo,
Mr. Campbell was in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank
of Major. Some of his involvements over the years have been: Past
Chairman of the State Investment Council, Department of the Treasury of
the State of New Jersey; past member of the Board of Directors, U.S.
Council of Boy Scouts; past Chairman of the United Way Fundraiser-
Bayonne; Member of Kiwanis Club; Board of Directors of the YMCA in
Bayonne; past President and present member of National Association of
Review Appraisers and Mortgage Underwriters; member of the Panel of
Arbitrators; and a member of the Board of Trustees, Bayonne Hospital.
Mr. Campbell graduated in 1960 from Seton Hall University, with a BS
