William E. Barton is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer of Granite Construction Incorporated. William E. Barton
is the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for
Granite Construction Incorporated. Mr. Barton is a graduate of
San Jose State University with a degree in Accounting and Finance
(1967) and Santa Clara University with a Masters in Business
Administration (1973). Mr. Barton has been with Granite
Construction since 1980. He has served in various capacities
including Controller and Assistant Financial Officer, Treasurer
and Cash Manager. Prior to coming to Granite, Mr. Barton worked
for both Lockheed Missiles and Space Company and Spectra Flux,
Inc. Mr. Barton is currently a member of the Financial Executives
Institute and was formerly active with the Rotary Club of
Freedom. In addition, he has served as a member of the board of
directors for the Pajaro Valley Shelter Services, Peninsula
Treasury Management Association and the Public Schools Foundation
for Santa Cruz County. Mr. Barton is currently a director of
Wilder Construction Company and TIC Holdings. Profile
