Lynne Thornton is a Director, shareholder and member of the Investment Committee of Aubrey Capital Management Limited in the U.K. As an executive, she manages the relationships with Australian institutional clients along with cornerstone Aubrey shareholder, The Treasury Group. Ms. Thornton travels widely in the region to maintain a special focus on Asian equities. She is an active angel investor in Melbourne through the Scale network. Her professional career has included roles in the food, manufacturing and funds management industries located in the U.S., Europe and Australia. Prior to moving to Australia, Ms. Thornton spent 12 years in the U.K. in operational and executive roles across multiple industries and functions. In the B2B food sector, she held roles in operations and marketing, while as a Fund Manager she specialized in the consumer sector. Ms. Thornton has a MBA from Cambridge University in the U.K. and a B.S. in finance, real estate and law from California Polytechnic University.
