SEAN P. BUTSON, Principal, has been with Legg Mason for eight years and
currently covers the media industry. Prior to his current coverage, Mr.
Butson covered the wireless services and tower industries and finished
number one in the 2002 Wall Street Journal stock picking contest for
wireless services. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Portfolio
Manager in Bank of America's Corporate Banking Group, where he provided
financing to telecom and technology companies. Mr. Butson is a
Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Baltimore Security
Analysts Society. He has a BS in Finance from the University of
Maryland and a BA in politics from Wake Forest University. Profile
