Salomon Sredni, CPA, is the Chairman and CEO of TradeStation Group, Inc. He joined the company in December 1996 as its Vice President of Operations and CFO, and he was named Treasurer and a Director of the company in July 1997. In September 1999, he was named President and COO, and became CEO and President in February 2007. In June 2009, Mr. Sredni was elected Chairman of the board. In December 2000, Mr. Sredni became a Director of the company's operating subsidiaries, TradeStation Securities, Inc., and TradeStation Technologies, Inc. Mr. Sredni was recognized, together with the company's Co-Founders, Bill Cruz and Ralph Cruz, as the "Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year" for the state of Florida in 2005. Before joining TradeStation, Mr. Sredni was Vice President of Accounting and Corporate Controller at IVAX Corporation, a publicly held pharmaceutical company, from August 1994 to November 1996. Prior to that, he was with Arthur Andersen LLP from January 1988 to August 1994. Mr. Sredni is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Sredni has served on the board of various nonprofit organizations, including The David Posnack Hebrew Day School (where he served as Chairman of the board for two years), the Jewish Federation of Broward County and the Jewish Community Foundation. He is also a Founding Member of the Miami chapter of the Young Presidents' Organization, where he served as its Chairman for two terms.
