TOM W. OLOFSON, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
of EPIQ Systems, Inc., led a private investor group that acquired
the company in July 1988. During his business career, Mr. Olofson
has held various management positions with Xerox Corporation and
was a Senior Vice President and member of the Office of the
President of Marion Laboratories, Inc. Mr. Olofson is a Director
of Saztec International, Inc., a provider of information
management services and also serves as a Director of various
private companies in which he is an investor. He earned a BBA
degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1963 and is currently
a member of the Board of Visitors of the Katz Graduate School of
