TIMOTHY R. DETLOFF joined Monetta Financial Services in 1996 as an
Investment Analyst. He has been co-Manager of the Monetta Fund, Small-
Cap Fund, Mid-Cap Fund, Large-Cap Fund and Balanced Fund since June
1998. Prior to joining Monetta, Mr. Detloff was an Investment and
Financial Analyst for Amoco Corp. He received his Bachelor's degree in
Accounting from Northern Illinois University and his MBA from the
University of Illinois. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. Profile
Mr. Detloff: The Monetta organization grew from a modest investment club
formed in the early 1970s by Robert S. Bacarella, who was part of
