TIM KOOGLE joined Yahoo! in 1995 as President and CEO and was named
Chairman in January 1999. With more than 19 years experience, Mr. Koogle
was named one of 'The Top 25 Executives of the Year' for 1999 by
Business Week. Under his direction, Yahoo! has become a profitable, pre-
eminent global Web network, and has achieved several consecutive
quarters of increasing profitability with 1999 annual net revenues of
$591,786,000. Prior to Yahoo!, Mr. Koogle was President of Intermec
Corporation, a Seattle-based manufacturer of automated data collection
and data communications products, where annual sales increased nearly
50% to more than $300 million during his three-year leadership.
Previously, he spent nine years with Motorola where he held a number of
executive management positions in operations and corporate venture
capital. Mr. Koogle holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the
University of Virginia and MS and PhD degrees in Engineering from
