CEO Thomas J. Clarke, Jr., who has 15 years of management experience in
the financial services industry, joined TheStreet.com, a leading Web-
based provider of investment news and commentary, in October 1999.
Previously, he worked at Thomson Financial Investor Relations (formerly
Technimetrics Inc.), most recently as Chief Executive. He oversaw the
1998 sale of Technimetrics from Knight-Ridder to Thomson Corp. after
significantly enhancing the value of the company. Mr. Clarke joined
Technimetrics in 1984. Before joining Technimetrics, Mr. Clarke worked
at McAuto Systems Groups and Media Records. Mr. Clarke is a Business
Information Adviser of Plum-Holdings LP, a venture capital fund based in
Philadelphia that focuses on early-stage media companies. Mr. Clarke
received his Master's degree in Business Administration from Hofstra
University and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from St. John
