THOMAS A. CARR is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive
Officer of CarrAmerica Realty Corporation, one of the largest
office companies in the United States. CarrAmerica and its
affiliates own, directly or through joint ventures, interests in
290 operating properties representing 25 million square feet of
office space in 12 markets. Mr. Carr served as President of
CarrAmerica from February 1993 to March 2002. He became Chief
Executive officer in May 1997 and was named Chairman in May 2002.
He is a member of the Executive Committee and Investment
Committee of CarrAmerica. Mr. Carr is also a director of
AgilQuest, a leader in mobile workforce technology. He is a
member of the Board of Governors of the National Association of
Real Estate Investment Trusts, and a member of the Young
Presidents' Organization and the Federal City Council. Mr. Carr
holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard
Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown
