TERRY GROWCOCK is President and CEO of The Manitowoc Company, Inc., a
leading manufacturer of lattice-boom cranes, boom trucks, commercial ice
cube machines, ice/beverage dispensers, and commercial refrigeration
equipment. The firm is also a leading provide of ship repair, conversion
and construction services on the Great Lakes. Manitowoc is headquartered
in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Mr. Growcock was appointed to his current
position in July 1998. Mr. Growcock joined the company in 1994 as
executive vice president and general manager of Manitowoc Ice, Inc. In
March 1995, Mr. Growcock was appointed president of Manitowoc
Foodservice Group and served in that capacity until his promotion to
president and CEO. Prior to joining Manitowoc, Mr. Growcock served as
vice president and general manager of Robertshaw Automotive, a
subsidiary of Siebe plc. In addition, Mr. Growcock previously held
sales, marketing, and executive positions with Paragon Electric, United
Technologies, Universal Nolin, and King-Seely Corporation. Mr. Growcock
attended Indiana University and earned a Bachelor's degree in business
management from the University of St. Francis, Fort Wayne, IN. He serves
as a board member of the Wisconsin Manufacturer's and Commerce and the
bay lakes Council of BSA, is a member of the advisory council of the
Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and is active in
numerous civic and trade associations. He is the past chairman of the
board of the Manitowoc County Chamber of Commerce, the 1997 Friends of
Scouting Northeastern Wisconsin campaign chair, the 1998 Manitowoc
County United Way campaign chair, and the 1999 Wisconsin maritime Museum
