TERRY BASSHAM, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and
Administrative Officer of El Paso Electric Company, oversees the
execution of all functions of the Customer and Public Affairs,
Treasurer's, Controller's and Information Technology departments. Mr.
Bassham previously served as Executive Vice President and General
Counsel of EPE. He has been at El Paso Electric since 1996 and has held
the positions of General Counsel and Vice President/General Counsel.
Before joining El Paso Electric, Mr. Bassham was a shareholder with
Clark, Thomas & Winters, PC, where he served as EPE's lead regulatory
attorney. Mr. Bassham holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration
degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and a
Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in San
Antonio. He is a member of the Texas Bar Foundation, the El Paso Bar
