STEVEN A. KRIEGSMAN is Director and has served as Chief Executive
Officer of CytRx Corporation since July 2002. He serves as Chairman of
the Board and was formerly the President of The Kriegsman Group, a
healthcare investment bank. A sample of medical companies he has
advised: Baxter International, Inc., Closure Medical Corporation,
Novoste Corporation, Maxim Pharmaceuticals, and SuperGen,Inc. A former
practicing CPA with KPMG, Mr. Kriegsman has also operated as a money
manager and merchant banker, principally in the healthcare industry. He
