STEPHEN S. TANG is President and Chief Executive Officer of Millennium
Cell, Inc. At the invitation of the United States Department of Energy,
Dr. Tang has been a member of the DOE's Hydrogen Vision and Hydrogen
Roadmapping Teams. He is currently a member of the New Jersey Bureau of
Public Utilities' Clean Energy Council, having been appointed by the
Governor in February 2003. In September 2003, Dr. Tang was featured as a
member of Forbes magazine's fifth annual 'E-Gang' as an 'unsung hero' of
wireless technology. Dr. Tang joined Millennium Cell in 2000. Prior to
that, he was Vice President and global leader of the pharmaceutical and
healthcare industry practice for A.T. Kearney, Inc., one of the world's
largest management consultancies. Dr. Tang previously served as co-
leader of the global chemical and environmental practice for the
management consulting firm, Gemini Consulting, Inc. Prior to his time at
Gemini Consulting, Dr. Tang was the President and Founder of Tangent
Technologies, Senior Research Engineer and Assistant Director of Lehigh
University's Center of Molecular Bioscience and Biotechnology. Dr. Tang
received his BS in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary, an MS
and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from
the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Profile
