STEPHEN HUGHES is a Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and
Chief of Administration for SRA International, Inc. Mr. Hughes has been
with SRA for nearly 23 years. A CPA, Mr. Hughes began his professional
career as a Job Cost Accountant with a manufacturing company in the
Virginia Beach area. After about a year and a half in the manufacturing
environment, he was invited to participate in a systems implementation
project with a non-profit foundation in Arlington, Virginia. During the
project, Mr. Hughes became acquainted with SRA Corporation. At the
conclusion of the systems implementation, Mr. Hughes joined SRA
Corporation as a Systems Analyst. After three years with SRA, he left
SRA and joined Coopers and Lybrand, to work in the audit and tax groups.
After slightly more than a year, Mr. Hughes returned to SRA as Manager
of Accounting, was promoted to Vice President of Finance in 1989, Senior
Vice President in 1993 and Chief Financial Officer in 1996 and Chief of
Administration in 2003. Mr. Hughes is active in various industry
associations and business round tables. He is a member of the Board of

TWST: Give us a very brief history and an overview of SRA.Mr. Hughes: SRA was founded in 1978 by Ernst Volgenau, our Chairman and
CEO, in his basement in Reston, Virginia. After a career in
