STEPHEN GARTSIDE, President and CEO of Evolving Systems, Inc., joined
the company in August 2001 as Vice President, Corporate Business
Development. He moved into the role of Executive Vice President, Sales
and Operations in April 2002. In December 2003, Mr. Gartside was elected
to the position of President and CEO, and a member of the Board of
Director. During this tenure, he has been responsible for corporate
acquisitions which have resulted in doubling the size of the company and
creating an international presence. Prior to Evolving Systems, Mr.
Gartside was one of the early employees at Terabeam Corporation, a
wireless IP technology and services company, where he served as the
Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. Prior to Terabeam, Mr.
Gartside was the Region Director, Communications Division, for Stratus
Computers, where he had responsibility for sales of platform, OSS and
network element solutions to carriers in the western United States. Mr.
Gartside also has held a number of sales, marketing and sales management
positions, including Area Vice President with NCR and AT&T Global
Information Solutions. In his 11-year career with NCR and AT&T GIS, his
focus was on selling solutions for the communication industry. He holds
a BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas and has pursued MBA
studies at the University of St. Thomas. Profile
