Stanley A. Galanski joined The Navigators Group, Inc., in March 2001 as President and COO, and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of the company on January 1, 2003. In addition to serving as Chairman and President of Navigators Insurance Company and Navigators Specialty Insurance Company, he is a director of NUAL, the company’s Lloyd’s managing agency. Prior to Navigators, Mr. Galanski was CEO of Intercargo Corporation (ICAR) from July 1997 to March 2001, and was responsible for the sale of the company to XL Capital in 1999. Mr. Galanski formerly was President of XL Insurance Company of NY and XL Specialty Insurance Company, as well as New Hampshire Insurance Company, an AIG subsidiary. He spent the first 15 years of his career with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and remains active in their alumni association. He is a member of the board of overseer’s of St. John’s University’s School of Risk Management and Insurance; a member of the executive advisory board of PCI, an insurance industry trade organization; and a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors. BRADLEY D. WILEY has been Senior Vice President, Chief Financial
Officer and Secretary of The Navigators Group, Inc., since 1996.
He began his career in public accounting with a Big Eight firm
and has been a Senior Financial Officer or the Chief Financial
Officer of various insurance companies since 1983. Profile
TWST: Could we begin with a brief historical sketch of The NavigatorsGroup, and an overview of what the company is doing right now?
Mr. Wiley: The Navigators Group is an international
