CHARLES C. SCHWARTZ is a Vice President of the Sentinel Advisors
Company, which manages the Sentinel Funds and other investment
portfolios of the joint venture partnership among two insurance
companies ' National Life and Penn Mutual. He is an Equity Analyst for
the Sentinel Small Company Fund. Mr. Schwartz has more than 12 years of
investment experience. He joined Sentinel as an Assistant Equity Analyst
in 1996. Prior to joining the firm, he was Vice President of Capital
Asset Management Company in Louisville, Kentucky. Before getting his
MBA, Mr. Schwartz worked as a Research Engineer for General Electric's
Corporate R&D Center. He has assumed analytical coverage of the
technology sector for the Fund. Mr. Schwartz graduated from the
University of Colorado with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. He
earned a Master's in Business Administration from the University of
Louisville. Mr. Schwartz was awarded his Chartered Financial Analyst
designation in 1999 and is a member of the Association for Investment
Management and Research and the Vermont Securities Analysts Society. Profile
