SHERI MIKSA, President and CEO of Rubio's Restaurants, Inc., has been in
touch with America's taste buds and service expectations for more than
two decades. Before joining Rubio's in September, 2002, Ms. Miksa served
as COO of Seattle Coffee Company (AFC Enterprises). Prior to that, she
served as Vice President, Operations, for LSG Sky Chefs, a leader in
international airline catering. Earlier she was in operations at Taco
Bell Corporation, ultimately, as Senior Director of Operations
overseeing more than 200 restaurants. Early in her career, she managed a
hotel on top of the Alaska pipeline, was in brand management at Frito-
Lay and General Foods, and led strategic marketing efforts for hotel
clients of a major hotel management firm. Ms. Miksa holds a BA from the
University of Alaska and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate
School of Business. She is also a past Board Member and past Chair of
the Mentor Committee of the Women's Food Service Forum. Profile
