J. Steven Smigie is Senior Vice President in equity research at Raymond James
Financial Inc. in St. Petersburg, Fla. He joined the firm in August 2001 and
covers analog communications and semiconductors. Mr. Smigie has been cited twice
by Investor's Business Daily as a top semiconductor stock picker. He is
frequently quoted in the media and appears on Bloomberg TV and Radio. Prior to
joining Raymond James, Mr. Smigie worked for Needham & Company, Inc., where he
spent four years in investment banking and equity research. He earned an MBA
