SEMICONDUCTOR CAPITAL EQUIPMENT: EDWARD WHITE JR. – LEHMAN BROTHERS

EDWARD C. WHITE JR., CFA, is a Managing Director and Semiconductor Capital Equipment Analyst in the Equity Research department at Lehman Brothers. He has covered semiconductor equipment and other electronics companies for the past 26 years. Prior to joining Lehman in June 1990, Mr. White managed his own merger and acquisition consulting firm. He also spent five years with E.F. Hutton, and three years at L.F. Rothschild, Unterberge Towbin. He was ranked among the top semiconductor equipment analysts by Institutional Investor magazine in 1995, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2003 and among the top electronics analysts in 1986. He was selected by Institutional Investor magazine as a Home Run Hitter in 1995 and 1996. He was also ranked in the Wall Street Journal All Star Survey in 2001 and The Wall Street Journal 'Best on the Street' 2003. Mr. White was recently noted in Bloomberg's Marketing Research 2003 as a leading analyst in the semiconductor capital equipment sector.
