Michael Nannizzi joined Oppenheimer in 2008 and focuses his coverage on the P&C insurance space. In his first full year of covering the sector, Mr. Nannizzi was honored as the best up-and-coming insurance analyst in Institutional Investor's "2009 All-America Research Team" survey. Prior to being named Bear Stearns' Senior Life Insurance Analyst in 2008, Mr. Nannizzi focused his coverage primarily on specialty finance and mortgage finance companies. Before coming to Wall Street, he worked at Macromarkets, a niche company founded by Yale economist Robert Shiller. He began his career as an Auditor for Ernst & Young.
