Alan Herrick is President and CEO of Sapient, and serves on its board of directors. Mr. Herrick works closely with the Sapient leadership team to set strategy and foster a culture of innovation. Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, Mr. Herrick served as Executive Vice President in charge of Sapient North America and Europe. In that role, he headed three of the company's four business units and was responsible for 90% of its revenues. Mr. Herrick joined Sapient in 1995, and was instrumental in top- and bottom-line growth for the aforementioned business units, including Sapient's Trading and Risk Management business. He also headed the Energy Service business and helped launch the company's industry groups in 1998. In addition, he led Sapient's European business while living in London from 2000 to 2002. Prior to joining Sapient, Mr. Herrick held key management positions at PSE&G, Prudential and Home Holdings, Inc. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island. Profile
