SANJAY SUBHEDAR joined E-TEK in December 1997 as Vice President, Finance
and Chief Financial Officer. Since that time, he has been promoted to
Senior Vice President of Operations and most recently to Chief Operating
Officer and Chief Financial Officer in October 1999. Prior to joining E-
TEK, Mr. Subhedar was the Chief Financial Officer of Stratacom, Inc., a
wide area networking company, from its inception in 1986 to its merger
with Cisco Systems in July 1996. Mr. Subhedar served as Vice President
of Cisco's WAN business through October 1997, guiding the successful
Cisco-Stratacom integration. Before joining Stratacom, Mr. Subhedar was
with Girard Capital, a venture capital firm in San Diego, from 1983 to
1986 and previously with National Semiconductor and Microsemiconductor
in various financial management positions. Mr. Subhedar has an MBA from
Indiana University and a BS degree from the University of Bombay, India. Profile
