SAMUEL A. LIEBER is CEO/Portfolio Manager at Alpine Management &
Research, LLC. Previously, he was associated with The Evergreen
Funds as a Real Estate Portfolio Manager. Before that he was with
Whitbred-Nolan, Inc., and with The Project for Public Spaces as a
Noyes Fellow. Mr. Lieber's academic background includes Wesleyan
University, New York University Graduate School of Business, and
NYU Real Estate Institute. He is a member of NYSSA, NAREIT, the
International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land

ROSS L. SMOTRICH is a Managing Director at Bear, Stearns & Co. Prior to
joining Bear, Stearns & Co., Mr. Smotrich was a Vice President and
Senior Equity Analyst at Merrill Lynch. Before beginning his real estate
career, Mr. Smotrich worked as an Economist in the Department of
International Affairs-Ministry of Finance, and in the Knesset, State of
Israel. He received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania in
Diplomatic History and International Economics and his MBA in Finance
and Real Estate from Columbia University. Mr. Smotrich is a member of

LOUIS W. TAYLOR, Managing Director, joined Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown in
November 2000 to cover the REITs sector. Prior to joining Prudential, he
spent eight years as a Real Estate Acquisition Officer at several firms
including AEA Capital, Security Capital and Prudential Real Estate
Investors. Mr. Taylor, who is a CPA, holds an MBA from the Tuck School
at Dartmouth and a BS from Boston College. Profile
LAWRENCE D. RAIMAN is a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston.
He was previously associated with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette prior to
the recent merger. Prior to that Mr. Raiman worked for PaineWebber. He
received a BS in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University and
an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School. Mr. Raiman is a
Certified Public Accountant and a member of NAREIT, International
Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, and various other

DAVID SHULMAN is a Managing Director and Senior REIT Analyst at Lehman
Brothers. Previously, he was associated with Salomon Brothers, as both
Chief Equity Strategist and Director of Real Estate Research. He has
also served as a member of Ulysses Management LLC. Dr. Shulman holds a
BBA from Baruch College, and an MBA and PhD from the University of
California, Los Angeles. In 1990, he was the winner of the first annual
Graasliamp Award for excellence in Real Estate Research from Pension
