JOHN HATHAWAY is a Senior Portfolio Manager with Tocqueville Asset
Management. A Chartered Financial Analyst, he previously served as
President and CIO of Oak Hall Capital Advisors. He is also a member of
the NYSSA. Mr. Hathaway earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard
and an MBA from Darden Business School. He is married, has three
children, and includes golf, skiing, gardening, and photography among
his personal interests. DAVID G. MALLALIEU is Mining Analyst at Scotia
Capital Inc. He was previously associated with Nesbitt Burns Inc. as a
Gold Mining Associate, Placer Dome Inc., as a Project Geologist, Emerald
