ELLEN HANNAN is a Managing Director covering the oil and gas
exploration and production industry for Bear, Stearns & Co. She
was selected for the 2001 Wall Street Journal All-Star Analyst
Survey for stock picking. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, she
spent four years with Prudential Securities, where she covered
large cap exploration and production stocks. She also spent four
years on the buy side with Bessemer Trust, covering all of energy
as well as other basic industries. She began her career with
Texaco, spending eight years in financial analysis, followed by
three years as a Senior Analyst with John S. Herold, Inc. She
received an MBA from Pace University and a BA from Skidmore

Herold, Inc., a leading independent oil and gas research company,

Herold Energy Investment Outlook. Prior to joining Herold in
September 1996, Ms. Fan covered the oil, natural gas and power
industries for Dow Jones & Co.'s investment research department
and tracked the petroleum industry for the financial news group

Association of Petroleum Investment Analysts, the Houston
Producers' Forum and the Independent Petroleum Association of
