ROBERT B. AUSTRIAN is a Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst in the Technology Group at Banc of America Securities LLC. He focuses on enterprise application software companies. Prior to joining Banc of America, Mr. Austrian was a Software Analyst and Technology Strategist at Morgan Stanley where he invented the Morgan Stanley 'Tech-35' Technology Index. He was also associated with Lehman Brothers and Neuberger Berman. Mr. Austrian was recently named the First Place Stock Picker for the software sector in The Wall Street Journal's 2001 Analyst Survey. CHRISTOPHER SHILAKES, a First Vice President at Merrill Lynch & Co., has been a member of the Securities Research Division since October 1993. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, he was an Investor Relations Director at Oracle Corporation, a leading relational database software and services vendor. Before that, he was a Senior Research Analyst with Alex. Brown & Sons for four years, covering the systems software and relational database industries. Mr. Shilakes was named to the All America Research Team in the Server Enterprise Software category from 1997-2000 by Institutional Investor Magazine. BRENDAN BARNICLE is Principal and Senior Research Analyst of Pacific Crest Securities' Enterprise Application Software Practice. His team focuses on understanding the dynamics and key drivers of companies providing enterprise applications, with a particular emphasis on collaboration analytics and supply chain management. Prior to joining Pacific Crest, he founded the Internet services company MyLackey.com, where he served as Chairman and Chief Financial Officer. He also served as Director of Business Development at eCharge Corporation, an Internet payment solution. He was ranked in the top 10 of Institutional Investor's 2002 All-American Research Team in the applications software sector.
