RONALD L. HANDFORD is President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of
GeneMax Corp. He has over 30 years of international experience in
business, finance and leading public and private companies. As founding
CEO of GeneMax, he conducted the due diligence review of the GeneMax
technology acquisition, negotiated the key license, operating and
management contracts, prepared the business plan and arranged the
private seed capital with the assistance of the other members of the
business team. He is an Engineering graduate from the University of
British Columbia with an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He
was previously President and CEO of Ouro Brasil Ltd. and Oro Argentina,
mineral exploration companies, from 1996 to 1999. From 1993 to 1996, he
was an investment officer at the International Finance Corporation, the
private sector arm of the World Bank, in Washington DC. Before that he
was a Vice President with Barclays Bank in Toronto, responsible for its
structured finance activities in Canada. He is experienced in capital
raising as well as in building and administering public and private
