Ronald BRILL has been with The Home Depot since its inception in 1978.
He served as Controller from 1978-1980; elected Treasurer in 1980, named
Vice President of Finance in 1981, Sr. Vice President-Chief Financial
Officer in 1984, served as Executive Vice President in 1993 was named
Chief Administrative Officer of The Home Depot in 1995, and has been a
Director of the company since 1987. Prior to joining The Home Depot, he
worked for Arthur Andersen and Company in various positions from
1966-1976. Mr. Brill worked as Director of Audit Services for Handy Dan
Home Improvement Centers from 1976-1978. A native of New York, he
graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1966 with a degree in
Accounting and in 1993, was inducted into 'The Pinnacle,' an
organization founded to formally recognize and acknowledge the
contributions and achievements of Fairleigh Dickinson's most
distinguished living alumni. Mr. Brill currently serves on the Boards
of Trustees of Atlanta Jewish Federation, Atlanta Jewish Community
Center, Robert W. Woodruff Arts Center, the Governing Board of Woodward
Academy, Emory University Board of Visitors, Wharton Executive Education
Advisory Board, the Board of Directors of the Atlanta High Museum of Art
and the Pilchuck Glass School. Profile
TWST: Could you give us a quick overview of Home Depot just so everybodyknows what you're up to?
Mr. Brill: Currently we have 707 stores in the United States and Canada,
one store in Chile
