RON K. BAILEY has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of
Strayer Education, Inc. since its formation in 1996, and President and
Director of Education Loan Processing (ELP) since 1994. From 1980 to
present, Mr. Bailey has held a variety of management positions with
Strayer University, including the position of President between 1989 and
1997. Before assuming his first full-time position with Strayer in 1980,
Mr. Bailey was a part-time faculty member of The University and served
as the Director of Data Processing for the National Association of Home
Builders. As President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Bailey has
propelled the organization to new heights. The University has achieved
enrollment growth of 15.2% annually and has expanded to deliver quality
post-secondary education through the Internet and at corporate
locations. Strayer University has grown to 13 campus locations in
Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC while achieving the highest
