ROBERT P. SCHECHTER joined NMS Communications Corporation in April 1995
as President and Chief Executive Officer, and became Chairman in March
1996. Prior to joining NMS Communications, Mr. Schechter spent eight
years at Lotus Development Corporation in Cambridge, Massachusetts,
first as Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations and Chief
Financial Officer, and most recently as Senior Vice President of the
International Business Group. In this capacity, he was responsible for
all sales, marketing, customer service and product development
activities outside of North America as well as Lotus global consulting
services. Prior to joining Lotus, Mr. Schechter was a Partner with
Coopers & Lybrand in Boston, where he served as Chairman of the
Northeast Region High Technology Practice. He is a member of the Board
of Infinium Software, Inc., the Boston Children's Museum, Moldflow
Corporation, SquashBusters, Massachusetts High Technology Council and
the Massachusetts Telecommunications Council. Mr. Schechter holds a BS
from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the Wharton School
at the University of Pennsylvania. Profile
