ROBERT D. FAGAN was elected President and Chief Executive Officer of
TECO Energy, Inc. in April 1999. Prior to joining TECO Energy, Inc. he
had served as President of PP&L Global Inc. in Fairfax, Virginia from
1994. PP&L Global is a subsidiary of PP&L Resources Inc., and has
ownership in electric power generation and distribution companies
serving more than 2 million customers. Mr. Fagan was Vice President and
General Manager of Mission Energy Company from 1989-1994, the power
development arm of Edison International, formerly Southern California
Edison. From 1985-1989, he was Vice President of Power Projects for
Combustion Engineering Inc. in Windson, Connecticut. Prior to that, he
had a nine-year career with General Electric in Schenectady, New York
which included responsibilities for the marketing activities of a $300
million worldwide business. He holds a BA degree in Engineering Science
and an ME degree in Chemical Engineering from Dartmouth. He is a
Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Maine and Virginia. Profile
