ROBERT L. de BAKKER joined ASM International NV in January 2001 as its
Chief Financial Officer, responsible for finance, administration and
investor relations. From 1987 to 2000, he was CFO of NKF Holding NV, a
Dutch-based international energy and communication cables group listed
in Amsterdam. Prior employers are: Fluor Daniel Engineers & Constructors
(Haarlem, Netherlands and London, UK), RSV (Rotterdam, Netherlands) and
Bank of America (Hamburg, Germany). Mr. de Bakker holds an MBA degree
from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College
as well as a degree in Business Administration from the Erasmus
University, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Profile
ERIK J. R. KAMERBEEK is Director of International Programs and Investor
Relations of ASM International NV. He joined ASM International in 1980
after holding management positions at two Dutch companies, Oldelft and
van Berkels Patent. At ASMI, he has held several senior management
positions. Mr. Kamerbeek also represents ASM at various European
organizations such as MEDEA+ (Microelectronic Development for European
Applications) and SEA (the EU task force on microelectronic equipment
assessment) and serves as president of SEMEA (the European association
on semiconductor equipment). He is also a member of the SEMI European
advisory committee. Mr. Kamerbeek earned an MEE degree from the
Technical University at Delft and an MBA from the Erasmus University in
