ROBERT E. CONWAY has served as Chief Executive Officer for Array
BioPharma Inc., since November 1999 and as a member of the Board of
Directors since December 1999. He manages the fast growing 245 employee
drug discovery company in Boulder, Colorado, where he led the
organization through its IPO in November 2000. Prior to joining Array,
Mr. Conway was the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President
of Hill Top Research, from 1996 to 1999. There he managed 22 company-
owned research centers, conducting clinical trials for pharmaceutical
and biotechnology companies. From 1979 until 1996, Mr. Conway held
various executive positions for Corning, most recently as the Corporate
Vice President and General Manager of Corning Hazleton, the world's
largest preclinical contract research organization. There, he led North
American operations consisting of two state-of-the-art laboratories,
three worldwide sales offices and over 1,000 employees. Mr. Conway
currently serves on the Board of Directors of DEMCO. He has also served
as Chairman of the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce in Madison, and
as a Board member of the Board of Visitors at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison School of Business and School of Pharmacy, the
Wisconsin Council for Science and Technology, and Future Madison Inc.
Mr. Conway received a BS in Accounting from Marquette University and an
MBA from the University of Cincinnati. Profile
