RICK R. HOLLEY is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Plum
Creek Timber Company, L.P., based in Seattle, Washington, the position
he has held since January of 1994. Upon graduating from San Jose State
University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business
Administration, Mr. Holley spent 9 years with General Electric Company
in various financial positions. In 1983, he joined Burlington Northern,
Inc. as Assistant Vice President-Corporate Audit. In 1985, he was
promoted to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Plum Creek
Timber Company, then an operating company of Burlington Northern. Mr.
Holley serves on the boards of Plum Creek, American Forest & Paper
Association as its Chairman and World Forestry Center. He is a member of
Board of Trustees at American Forest Foundation and Children's Hospital
