RICK GOINGS is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tupperware
Corporation. With sales exceeding $1.1 billion annually,
Tupperware is one of the world's leading direct sellers of food
storage, preparation and serving items. Tupperware's premium
products reach consumers in more than 100 countries. Following
college, Mr. Goings was Founder and President of Dynamics Inc.,
one of the nation's first direct sellers of home security
systems. He was recruited to Avon Products Inc. in 1985 where he
held a number of senior management positions: in Europe as
President of Avon Germany, in the Pacific Rim as Group Vice
President and Senior Operating Officer and ultimately in the
United States where he served as President of Avon USA. A
Vietnam-era veteran, he served in the U.S. Navy on the Destroyer
USS Power. In 1999, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America honored Mr.
Goings with their most prestigious award, the Herbert Hoover
Humanitarian Award, for his outstanding leadership as their
National Chairman. Additionally, the People's Republic of China
recognized him with the Marco Polo Award in March 2000 for his
visionary leadership, his significant role in China's economic
development and concern for Chinese society. Mr. Goings was
educated at Guilford College and in 2002 received an Honorary
Doctorate in Business Administration from Bryant College.
Currently, Mr. Goings serves on the Board of Directors for
Tupperware Corporation, R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Holdings, Inc.,
Rollins College, and SunTrust Bank, N.A., and is a member of the
Board of Governors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America where
