RICHARD N. ZEHNER is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
of Alliance Imaging. He founded Alliance Imaging, Inc. in November of
1983. Alliance, an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., LP
following a recapitalization transaction in November of 1999, provides
comprehensive diagnostic imaging and other outsourced services to
hospitals and other healthcare organizations nationwide, and is the
nation's largest provider of hospital based fixed-site and mobile
magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography services. Prior to
the founding of Alliance, he was employed by National Medical
Enterprises in various management capacities for ten years. Since 1990,
Mr. Zehner has been a member of the Board of Directors of Long Beach
Community College Healthcare Associates and in mid 2000 was inducted
into the Long Beach City College Hall of Fame. He is also a member of
the California Radiologic Society and American Registry of Radiologic
Technology and American Healthcare Radiology Administrators. Mr. Zehner
has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Administration, is a
licensed Radiologic Technologist, and has achieved several certificates
of instruction relevant to diagnostic imaging equipment. Mr. Zehner has
