Richard I. Sichel is Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at
the Philadelphia Trust Company. He is responsible for the firm's investment
policy and strategy. He manages equity and fixed income portfolios for high net
worth individuals, foundations, endowments, Taft-Hartley plans and public and
corporate pension plans. Prior to joining the firm, he was employed as the Chief
Investment Officer of Investment Counselors of Bryn Mawr, a department of the
Bryn Mawr Trust Company. During his career he has been a Portfolio Manager and
Director of Investment Research with several Princeton and Philadelphia
institutions. He is a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia, several Estate
Planning Councils, and serves on various Boards. He is quoted often in The New
York Times, The Wall Street Journal and other respected major financial
