RICHARD HOCHHAUSER is President and Chief Executive Officer of Harte-
Hanks, Inc., a worldwide direct marketing and targeted media company
that provides a full range of customer relationship management
solutions, related direct and interactive marketing services, and
regional shopper publications. In addition to his duties as President
and CEO of Harte-Hanks, Mr. Hochhauser also serves as a member of the
company's Board of Directors. Mr. Hochhauser joined Harte-Hanks in an
entrepreneurial capacity 28 years ago. He assumed responsibility for the
direct marketing business of Harte-Hanks in 1987, was named President of
the parent company in 1999, and was named President and CEO of the
company in April 2002. Mr. Hochhauser has spoken at a wide range of
marketing and database conferences, lectured at Northwestern, Carnegie
Mellon and Rutgers, and was on the faculty of New York University. He is
past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Direct Marketing
Association, served on the Advisory Board of Texas A&M University,
Center for Retailing Studies, and is currently a member of the board of
directors of Modem Media, Inc., and a board member of the Center for
Direct and Interactive Marketing Board of Advisors of NYU's School of
Continuing and Professional Studies. Mr. Hochhauser graduated from
Carnegie Mellon University and received an MBA from Columbia. Profile
