RICHARD M. HOCHHAUSER is President and Chief Executive Officer of Harte-
Hanks, Inc. ' a leading international direct marketing company that
provides a full range of specialized, coordinated and integrated direct
marketing services, database and response management/teleservices. Mr.
Hochhauser joined Harte-Hanks in an entrepreneurial capacity 27 years
ago. He assumed responsibility for the direct marketing business of
Harte-Hanks in 1987, and has led compounded double-digit growth since
the late 1980s. Mr. Hochhauser has spoken at a wide range of marketing
and database conferences, lectured at Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon and
Rutgers, and is on the Faculty of New York University. He is past
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Direct Marketing Association,
served on the Advisory Board of Texas A&M University, Center for
Retailing Studies, and is currently a Board member of the Center for
Direct and Interactive Marketing Board of Advisors of NYU's School of
Continuing and Professional Studies. Mr. Hochhauser graduated from
Carnegie Mellon University and received an MBA from Columbia. Profile
