RICHARD FAUBERT has been President and Chief Executive Officer of
SpeedFam-IPEC, Inc., since 1998. Mr. Faubert joined SpeedFam after seven
years with Tektronix, Inc., where in 1992 he was the General Manager of
the Instruments Business Unit with full business responsibility for
oscilloscope solutions, digital systems development and VXI products
within Tektronix's overall Measurement Business Division. In 1994, Mr.
Faubert became the Vice President and General Manager of the TV/Comm
Business Unit. Before that, he worked for GenRad from 1966 to 1992. In
those 26 years, he held positions in engineering, sales management,
program management, product marketing and product line management.
During the last six years at GenRad, Mr. Faubert was Vice President of
Product Development. Mr. Faubert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and has completed
advanced business development programs at both Northeastern University
and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition, Mr. Faubert
is a member of the Board of Directors for RadiSys Corporation. Profile
