RICHARD DAHLBERG, CFA, is Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager
at Salomon Brothers Asset Management. He joined SBAM in July 1995 as a
senior portfolio manager and head of the equity group. Prior to joining
SBAM, Mr. Dahlberg was a senior portfolio manager with Massachusetts
Financial Services (MFS) where he managed the MFS Total Return Fund from
1985-1995. For ten years straight, the fund was rated four stars by
Morningstar. Mr. Dahlberg joined MFS in 1968 as a research analyst. From
1973-1979, he managed the MFS Financial Development Fund and from
1980-1985, managed the Massachusetts Investors Trust. Prior to MFS, Mr.
Dahlberg was an equity research analyst for Eaton Vance. He received a
BA in Economics and Finance from the Northeastern University and an MBA
from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Profile
