John F. Osbon, Founder and Chief Investment Officer, established Osbon Capital Management in 2005 after two prosperous decades on Wall Street. Previously, Mr. Osbon opened the Morgan Stanley private wealth office in Boston in 2000 as its Executive Director. In addition, he was a Managing Director and Head of Atlantic Trust Pell Rudman in Boston, and a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Osborn is the Chairman of the board of overseers and a Trustee Ex Officio of the Boston Ballet. He has served on the development board of Park Street School in Boston, the board of overseers of the Peabody Essex Museum, the board of the trustees of the Boys and Girls Club of Nantucket, the vestry of St. Paul’s Church on Nantucket and as a Trustee of the Nantucket New School. Other former board memberships include the board of overseers of the Boston Children’s Museum and the board of trustees of the Boston Lyric Opera. Mr. Osbon earned a B.A. from the University of Chicago, and an MBA in finance from the Columbia Graduate School of Business. He was an Adjunct Professor of finance at Babson College Graduate School of Business.
