Chris Marinac, Managing Director, joined Suntrust Robinson
Humphrey in 1997, after becoming a Financial Analyst in 1993. He
graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University with a BBA
in Finance/Accounting. He oversees the Financial Services group,
which includes coverage in banking and thrifts. Prior experience
includes five years at Interstate/Johnson Lane Corporation as a
Financial Analyst covering financial institutions, finance
companies and REITs. He is a member of the Bank & Financial
Analysts Association, the Association of Investment Management
and Research, NAREIT, the Atlanta Apartment Association, and the
Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts. He earned his Chartered
