RANDALL W. WHITE Chairma, President, Treasurer and CEO of Educational
Development Corporation, graduated from Oklahoma State University in
1963 with a degree in Accounting. He progressed through the management
ranks and then came to Educational Development Corporation in 1983 in
the position of Controller. After three years, Mr. White became
President and Chairman of the Board of the company. Educational
Development had lost almost $5 million in the previous five years and
was almost bankrupt. He believed that the company could be successful,
so he personally guaranteed the debt. From that time forward, the
company has not had an unprofitable year and in two of the last three
years has been named by Forbes magazine as one of the 200 Best Small
Companies in America. Mr. White has never been a conventional thinker,
so in 1986 he created a multilevel division, which has proven to be very
successful. He believes that this division can give high quality
children's books to the public by providing moms the opportunity to earn
an income while staying at home with their children, and, in turn,
create the ability to develop a business without sacrificing family
values. His goal is to touch the lives of children in a positive way one
book at a time. Profile
